There are many ways in which you can get involved through volunteering with us.

AVAILABLE ROLES:

CAFÉ ✻

Make and serve drinks and cakes at our drop-in café. Volunteering Sessions can be 1, 2 or three hours weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

MEET AND GREET ✻

Sit and chat with those who drop in to make sure that everyone feels welcome. Volunteering Sessions can be 1, 2 or three hours weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

RECEPTION ✻

Welcome, direct and help answer queries. Use a computer to help people find and use online services. Help with our routine administration and reporting.

The ✻ roles require a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, policies to be read and a short safeguarding course to be completed.

SET UP AND TAKE DOWN

To help get ready for each session. This will involve moving tables and chairs. Volunteering Sessions are just one hour weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

CAKE MAKERS

Bake one of your favourite cakes following a few simple allergen guidelines at home, once every 1, 2 or 3 months.

TEA TOWEL AND APRON WASHERS

Take a turn once a month to wash and dry aprons and tea towels.
